We had 2 great meals here as a family whilst in Bude for the week - the service, restaurant itself and the food were so good the first time round that we had to go back. The 2 guys running the restaurant were extremely attentive and accommodating and even re-arranged all their empty tables and seats on our first visit to make sure they could squeeze in our party of 4. The food is varied and of great quality and between our group comprising meat eaters, vegetarian and kids we had no problem finding choices that were ideal for us, all of which was exceptionally good. Definitely highly recommended !

Fantastic little spot in Bude doing everything right. Proper home made pies and the best chips you’ll find. Generous portions, reasonable prices and great energy from the man in charge! 10/10

Went here with my family of 10 people and were very impressed. Great atmosphere, generated in part by the friendly staff. We were even asked what music we would like played! The pies were amazing and so packed full of meat. The kids loved the fish and chips and the 'street style' version was great and a huge portion.

Absolutely phenomenal food - best meal we had in Bude! We did not know what to expect but everything was perfect. We had one of the homemade pies and the newly added special dish; a 24hr smoked Pork Belly with some of the most incredible loaded fries I’ve ever tasted! Atmosphere was very chilled out and the hosts were super friendly. A top recommendation!

Great food - Highly recommend!! We’ve been coming to Cornwall for years and shock-horror I really don’t like pasties , but I do love a pie, so I’ve been keeping an eye out for a really decent Cornish Pie shop..... today I finally found it The menu is fairly simple but don’t let that fool you, the food is really nice, the staff are very friendly and there’s a nice atmosphere going on. I went for the Steak & Ale chips. Decent big lumps of meat, very tasty really hit the spot! My wife had the Roast Chicken pie sat in a Yorkshire Pud with gravy. She loved it! We also had hot chocolates which were nice. Next time I’m in Bude I’ll definitely be eating here. The ONLY thing I can knock this place on is the toilet could do with smartening up a bit. Seemed clean though.

Travelled from Glastonbury just to try the pies! Well that's what we told the chef! Fantastic food and most definitely worth every penny. My husband and I loved our pies, roast potatoes and roast veg with extra gravy. The menu had lots of variety. Whilst the restaurant is not huge it has a great ambience with friendly staff. I very rarely review restaurants but this was worthy of one. Great place to eat with excellent food.

What can I say apart from Absolutely fantastic food and service. The steak and ale pie was excellent and the roasted veg which I got as a side was a very generous portion and delicious. The Korean chicken loaded fries were amazing, there were so many nice flavours.
